More than 300 attendees graduated during its tenure which has since evolved  into the Flexo Night School program at Gordon Graydon Memorial Secondary.

Dave Horseman, founder of Canflexographics, one of the most recognized names in the flexo supplies and equipment sales sector in Canada, was a founding member of the CFTC. Dave is a legend in the industry, has most likely sold more presses than any other, an inductie into the FTA Hall of Fame, and is by far, the flashiest dresser in the industry. Ron Schroder of Williamson Printing Materials, has without a doubt, been instrumental in ensuring the flexo industry supports flexo education in Canada. Supplying much needed equipment, consumable supplies and technical support to Gordon Graydon, Winnipeg Tech, has been instrumental to their programs. And to top it off, Ron is currently the Chairman of the group, and has been the driving force in forming the new CFTC efforts. Thanks Ron, from all of us in the Flexo industry!

Bob Szoke “AKA Flexo Bob” of Flexoneering Ltd., has been a well known character within the flexo industry for more than 20 years. Starting his career winning FTA awards at TwinPack in Brantford, Bob has helped ensure many of his employers have supported the industry over the years. Lily Cup, GMF and Sam Chung Graphics have all continued to support flexo education in Canada in part due to Bob’s efforts. Now if he would only stay away from racing motor cycles, we can count on Bob to continue these efforts for years to come. Thanks Bob, from all of us in the Flexo industry!
